Interesting Fact: The Simpoh Air boasts sizable, vibrant yellow flowers featuring five petals. As the flowers mature, they transform into pink star-shaped fruits that burst open when they ripen, exposing seeds encased in a reddish fleshy aril. The broad leaves of this plant have been utilized for wrapping food items like tempeh (fermented soybean "cake") or fashioned into shallow cones to hold traditional dishes like rojak, a salad popular in Southeast Asia.
