Joo chiat Shophouse with Frangipanis in full Bloom

A celebration of quintessential residential shophouses at Joo Chiat-Katong in limited edition prints by JTMUSES. The patio tree - Singapore Plumeria  ( SG Frangipani) - boasts sweetly fragrant clusters of white flowers to welcome any friend. The fine art print* will remind you of the many things you love about colourful and beautiful Peranakan shophouses, well known for their grand entrance gates and patios, colourful Chinese-inspired art decor styles and wooden window shutters. Learn more about the Singapore Plumeira at my blog story

Steeped in history, the eastern neighbourhood of Katong derived its name from a number of roads in the area named after plantation owner and philanthropist, Chew Joo Chiat. This bustling enclave is known for its colourful, picture-perfect shophouses, rich heritage, and a dizzying array of fantastic local food.
